can I have a lecture, please?

I've added about a million things to my Ravelry queue. Can you tell it's time for school to start?

I shouldn't even have been on Ravelry. I should be packing. But I got a box in the mail, a kinderegg from my friend L who went to Germany in May. I knit things for people who send me food. So I'm trying to find a pattern for the knit item she wants. Problem is, she wants a black version of the thing I knit her before, with a few other modifications. Big problem is, I made up that pattern. I took some blue yarn and did a this and a that, then I took some thinner white yarn and did a thing and a thang. I made notes on a piece of loose leaf, then I made the second of the pair, then I lost the loose leaf.

So I'm trying to find a new pattern until I get the yarn and can experiment. Seriously, I need a good 3 hour lecture class to go through these things on the queue.

I was there. I can attest to the stickiness part, but you internalized most of your reaction. Really - a bystander would never have guessed that you'd been - um - anymore than bitten by a snake, maybe? A snake with deadly venom, of course.

Still, it IS a beautiful waterfall.
