Today is the most beautiful day in the history of days that are today. In this moment, THIS moment is the most beautiful moment there is. And while this could very easily turn into a discourse on living in the moment and life is beautiful blah blah blah, I'm actually going to make the rest of this post all about me. Here is why my day is beautiful:
- There are 7 branches on campus that have changed colors.
- It is 75 degrees outside with a beautiful fall breeze. (Yes, my windows are open.)
- I'm drinking orange juice.
- My body has decided that throwing a fit does not get it what it wants. It is maturing. (Aka: the cramps have stopped and I have energy again.)
- My homiletics professor is not only willing to let me knit in class, but has herself a child who has ADHD and so is downright enthusiastic that I have found such a technique to keep myself focused.
- I changed one of my class sections (from day to night, which involves a professor change) and am super excited about the new class. (And in exchanging books, regained approximately $120.)
- Tomorrow night I get to see my family and cook for my parents. (____, ____, and ____ stuffed chicken.)
- Mint brownie ice cream. In my freezer. Will be in my belly tonight. Bwahahaha!
