Bread, part II

3:15: Checked on the bread. Exact thought: "Zah! It's bigger!"

3:25: Hee. It's getting bigger.

3:45: Punching time.

3:45:30: Skabooosh!

3:45:35: Fwoosh.

3:46: Re-form (Sticky!). Re-cover. Let it rise again. (If desired, put on CD playing "We will run and not grow weary, for our God will be our strength, and we will fly like an eagle, we will rise again" to encourage the dough not to feel beaten down by recent actions taken against it.)

4:25: Punching time. Skabooosh! Fwoosh.

4:27: Form into rolls, place on trays, recover. (Take a moment to freak out about how big the 24 are, and they're going to double again, and there aren't enough trays... Maybe I didn't punch enough...Oh dear...)

4:35: Why do I hear 24-part humming of David Haas in the kitchen?

5:00: Dad gets home, helps reshape/resquoosh the rolls.

5:30: First batch in the oven. Ice on the pan on the bottom rack of the oven. Pfzzzzzzz.

5:35: Is it done yet?

5:40: Is it done yet?

5:55: Switch! Roll out, take temp, pan out, pan in, ice in. Pfzzzzzzz.

6:00: Can we eat them now? (Dad: "No, we have to wait until they don't burn when you pick them up.")

I'm going to end coverage of BreadMania 1.0, because, though I have yet to eat, I'm worried that if I talk about the eating, or how good it smells right now, you'll be jealous, kidnap me, and force me to bake more.

Do I need new glasses, or does this say that you put ice in the oven when baking the rolls?
