I think I may have a topic for my paper for my religion capstone class. I don't really have much, except I know the following:
The point I want to make is in the diversity of the world (a diverse God created a diverse World, with diverse ways of seeing and worshiping God), the appropriateness of missionary work and evangelism in light of this Universlity of Possibility, and what that should look like in terms of church relations.
Unfortunately, the only source I can find (in initial searches) was published in 1843 and is called, "Incidental Benefits of Denominational Divisions." Hmm... this may require more review.
Also, a story from Sunday School yesterday.
We were teaching the children a song that had the phrase "oh, be not dismayed" in it. (Bonus points if you can correctly name the hymn from that.) And we asked, "what does dismayed mean?" (It is important here to note that the children did not have words in front of them.)
And the small hand in the back replied, "it means that God made us all just the way he wants us to be and that means that we aren't made wrong." Nope, we are not dis-made.

You made me laugh out loud. I hope Small Hand was praised for the truthful observation, if not the correct answer.
Probably you want some stuff on post-colonialist theology, which Gwen Sayler is known for. Also you can look up Paul Chung's stuff on mission, though his writing is very dense. And there's a book by a guy named Macchia which talks about a global vision of the Holy Spirit that might help. And all those should have useful bibliographies. And be sure to ask Karen, if she's still at the library- she's a little hard to warm up to, but her research skills are great.
