After a long and difficult battle with Julie's sewing machine. It kept not working. At one point, we had called for help, we had threaded everything correctly, but it still wouldn't work. So we decided to see if something was wrong with the bobbin.

There was. (That's exactly what it looked like when we pulled back the lid, I wouldn't let J touch it until I took the picture.)
Check the album that I posted before, the one with the fabric pictures, to see pants pictures.
After I finished the pants, D and I went to the FAChapel to see if they work playing the organ. And they do! They practically grip the bench, so awesome are they in not being slippery! And they come to just where I wanted them to, even though I didn't have my organ shoes with me when I hemmed them. They're a bit wider than I thought they would be, but that's okay, 'cause they're soooo comfy!! And the butt darts make them fit me perfectly!
I've also cut out lining material for the vest, although the rest of it will have to wait until tomorrow.
Nightynight.

Awesome! Truly awesome! I love that you went right away to try them out. Also that you took a picture of the bobbin escape, instead of chucking the sewing machine out the window in despair (this is why I do not sew - I know you guys used to come in and whisper, "Oh no - Mom's sewing!" and make yourselves scarce). Lovely darts. And the zipper! I shall now attempt to knit jackets with zippers, secure in the knowledge that you are wise in the ways of zippers!
