17 days until I go back to Iowa.
12 days to the New Year.
5 days to Christmas.
2 hours, 37 minutes and 32 seconds until my dentist appointment. :P
54 days until my birthday.
115 days until finals.
133 days until May Term.

Well. There's a lot going on, it seems. 5 days to Christmas!! I need to finish up some knitting. I need to hope for some delivery on some packages. I need to hope mom buys some wrapping paper.

Let's see... what's been going on lately? Well, I tried to make it to the zoo on Monday, but the wind was a bit too much. Much the blustery day. So I read more of a book I need to finish by Christmas (it's a present for someone) and practiced a bit (yahoo!!) and then headed downtown to go to dinner with a friend. Dinner was much fun, then we went to the temple and saw the lights and the international nativity sets (one of which was completely knit, very cool) and then my friend drove me home.

Today I have the dentist and then a party at my high school with their choir (the one I was accompanying for), then picking up the carpool kid in Tou-far-far-away-son. Then I'll probably practice some more and do dinner and knit more and go to bed. Thursday is back in DC again, Friday I have a meeting a church and will practice on the organ there, Saturday is chill out day, Sunday is church and wrapping, Monday is Christmas Eve, Tuesday is Christmas, and hopefully I'll post again before then, or at least shortly after then.

I'm  a little nervous about one of the gifts I got for my brother. Aside from the fact that I'm not sure if it's going to get here in time, I have no idea if he will like it or not, or if it's got some sort of hidden meaning that my sweet, innocent, religion-major self doesn't know about.

I think I'm going to go get myself a marshmallow and maybe some macaroni and cheese... some hot chocolate... hmmmm........
