The Family Weekend Concert just got over.. man, do my feet hurt! (Note to self: don't wear those shoes ever ever ever ever again.)
Yesterday the Family Weekend Orphans (with members from Alaska, Maryland, Arizona, and other states) went to DQ to celebrate our Orphanity.
'ouk (soft breathing mark, omicron, upsilon, kappa) means "not" in Koine Greek.
I've been having nightmares, some, and dreams so realistic I can't remember if they actually happened or not, a lot, and a hard time falling asleep, also a lot. Grr. Argh.
I sang incorrectly in the concert today and completely shot my voice. Oops.
It rained buckets today. Literally, buckets fell from the sky. ;)
I hate itching. I don't have hives, I'm just totally dried out from the air conditioning fighting the humidity. What happened to my fall weather?
Alrighty, I have half a mint white chocolate mocha smoothie calling to me, and some homework to get to. Whoopie!
Until the next,

I remember being a family weekend orphan! (I'm from IL... my family just hates paying for gas- also family politics.) It was fun, I got to wander around and watch my friends get nagged by their parents. Ice cream sounds like a good idea, too. Watch out for falling buckets! At least they aren't falling trees- did you hear that story? You aren't a freshman anymore, so you're in no danger. ;)
I now see what you were talking about on the phone yesterday. I'm having a similar issue myself, such is life...
And the story that Katie references is more like a miracle, and hardly 'tribal' in nature. The fall of 2004, a freshman girl walking across campus had a large tree branch fall around her. It was a forked branch and suddenly she was standing in the fork of the branch. Turns out that squirrels were to blame. They had a nest in the tree, where the offending limb branched off. The wet leaves of the nest had rotted the wood and the branch fell. The girl (I don't remember who it was) escaped with nothing but scratches. Moral of the story: the squirrels are out to get us.
We should set up some kind of date for homecoming weekend. You're going to have more commitments and stuff to do than I will, so when will you be free?
Love,
