Okay. So. This has been an interesting past couple of days. In summation, because I'm crawling out of my skin, here's what happened:
Allergic reaction to new medication started on Friday.
ER was visited on Saturday, after leaving Band bonding early. Returned to BB later in the day.
ER was again graced with my presence on Sunday, after their initial steriods and Benadryl hadn't kept things from getting worse Saturday night (and I couldn't sleep). More steriods. More Benadryl. And the ER staff now knows me by name, IV arm preference, and pop (soda) preference.
Monday I struggle through, but don't go to classes.
Today, still stayed home from class, but have begun to show signs of significant improvement. Except for the fact that my skin is so dry and stingy/itchy that I just want to rip it all off and I'm not even sure that I'll be able to sleep in my own bed tonight 'cause the air vent blows straight on me and the dryness is driving me bonkers.
In other news...
I'm going to go to bed before I do something I'll regret. Like scratch. Can I scratch? Even though it won't help and will actually make things much, much worse? It'll feel better for a split second before my world errupts into pain. Isn't that okay? No? Please can I scratch? No? What about now?
Goodnight, all.

Hugs!
I'm sorry to hear about your visits to the ER. :(
I'm glad that you're getting better, though dry skin is no fun. I do NOT give you permission to scratch. Ever. Wear gloves of mittens if you have to stop from scratching.
I have a couple knitting projects in the works, and I think I'm employed. :)
I love you and I miss you.
