So while bumming around attempting to read my blogs, I realized I should update this one with a bit more precision.
Also, it's late enough at night, so mom will read this tomorrow, and immediately jump up, saying, "oh! before I read another blog I must put my darling daughter's clothes in the washer, such that I can put them in the dryer before bed, such that I can mail them to her so she will not freeze out there at that school of hers." (HINT!)
So... uhm.... yeaahh....
Not much else to say.
I did better in my classes today than I thought I would. Understood a bunch of a lot more in Greek and German than I thought I would. Conducting was fun, although my baton (we apparently don't call them wands) has a "ewe-buub" that makes it different than everyone else's. But it lives in an elephant's trunk, so it's allowed to be a little different. Confused? I'll have to explain later, I can't put my hand on my camera right now and I want to go to bed.
In other news...
... Kartika and I practiced our duet again today and it's starting to sound like a real piece of music! (As opposed to the unreal conclomeration of notes it was previously.) I have my first organ lesson of the semester on Friday, and while I'm really really really looking forward to it, I'm also purdy nervous, since I really really really really want to impress her with how much I've been practicing. Which is difficult, 'cause while I have been practicing a lot since I got here... I didn't do that much this summer.
Until the next (which will hopefully probably include pictures of "ewe-buubs," baton-holder-elephant-trunks, the room set up, and the sunrise out my window,

It worked! Winter jacket is in the washer at this moment! And I get to keep all the money in the pockets, right? -jk, pockets were empty. Found the power cord. Does the monitor cord have blue ends? {fingers crossed}
