Today was my last Sunday at my field education site.
I preached, which was fun, and the sermon is over on Musings.
I also did the children's sermon. After giving fair warning before the church service, at the time for the children's sermon, I called for three adult choir members to be sheep. The children (there were two) were the shepherds. The shepherds had to keep the sheep in a specific area. The sheep were tasked to be, well, sheep. And they were wonderful. As soon as one was back another wandered off. And they just wandered, looking around, baaing nicely. One got lost in the pews and had to be carefully herded back. It was great. (The lesson, of course, being that God is our shepherd and herds us back no matter how often we stray.)
Ethics paper time. The end is near! (And then: packing.)
