There are small questions: "Where are my pants?" (I often have my "outside" pants and my "I'm home now and putting on comfy pants" pants, and will switch between them during the day if I'm home for awhile between classes.)
There are immediate questions: "Why are my pants on fire?" (Hint: I did not lie.)
There are medium questions: "What's for dinner?"
There are observational questions: "Is dinner on fire?"
And then there are those really big questions, life-altering questions, important, essential questions:
Why can't I read AND knit at the same time????

I dunno why not; your great-grandmother could! And listen to a radio program at the same time.
But the ability seems to have been diluted in succeeding generations - I knit & watch/listen to tv.
Have you tried AudioBooks?
