In case you're one of those people in the world who have never had a migraine, or even a horrid headache, here's how it goes:
Step 1 (optional): The PrePain: random lights in the vision, loss of sensation in a hand or arm
Step 2: The Realization: You can't put it off any longer, this is going to be a migraine day.
Step 3: Ow.
Step 4: Relaxing in a darkened room, bored.
It is step four that brings us here today because I'm saving my strength for babysitting later and therefore not even sitting up enough to knit.
I think (and I've thought and even posted about this before) I'm going to go into the knitting design business. I just can't find the knitting pattern that I want. I want a linen stitch, one-shouldered backpack with a zipper and an outside pocket. Apparently, though, I'm the only knitter in the world who finds linen stitch to be fun.
So I'm going to figure out what the shape of the pieces will need to be and then I'm going to knit.
And, I've narrowed down my sweater pattern options to two. So soon I'll be making my first sweater.
But, after my headache goes away.

Hmmm... I've only ever done linen stitch with fingering weight yarn on size 1 needles. it would probably be more fun with a heavier weight yarn and larger needles.
I hope you're feeling better. I usually get step 3.5: Empty contents of stomach.
I'd love to hear more about this sweater you're going to make.
