NO NO NO!

I went to knitty to look something up in a pattern really quickly. Something that was bothering me and so I wanted to look it up so I could focus on studying so that I could take my exams and pass all my classes and KNIT.

You can probably guess what happened next.
That's right. Some time between when I was last at knitty (two days ago) and when I was on knitty just now (two minutes ago), they updated it. NEW KNITTY! AHK! And they have a KNITTED ORANGE! I NEED a knitted orange! I NEED to KNIT an ORANGE right NOW!

*grumble*grumble* exams *grumble*grumble*

Also, my dad was wrong. He said (many years ago) that I should buy my own cross necklace when it came time, because it's good to pick out what you like if you're going to wear it everyday. But everyone I know that wears them (or something like it, like Bear's firefighter necklack) got them from someone important to them, so there's emotional/personal (can't think of the word I need) value. I like grey not yellow (silver not gold), simple not fancy. And that's all. Just... you know... Advent and all...

Not nice! I didn't know the new Knitty was up. I shouldn't look.

No web browsing.

Of course, you will notice I am reading blogs. But I need a mental break with lunch. It is good for the soul. *grin*

Car time... hotel time... more car time... plane time...
You ought to be able to get a whole crate of oranges out of all that!

Keep the goal in mind: fish under your bed!

I believe sentimental is the word you were looking for. I agree that you should wait for someone special to get a cross for you, but it wouldn't hurt to get one in the meantime if you don't get one for Christmas. I bought my Luther Rose for myself, but I used money from my mom for Easter.

Oh, and procrastinate from knitting by doing homework...if only the world worked that way!
