Yay! I have my computer set up and my internet working!!
Boo! My neighbors on all three sides (left, right, and below me) play their music so ridiculously loud that I can understand all the words, chord changes, and whether or not the artist had a cold the day of recording. I love my room, but I hate my building. It's really rather disheartening to hear sounds of socialization all around you and be all alone. I want to be alone, but it doesn't help to hear everyone just being so crazy noisy. I want to sleep! Or just have enough quiet to hear myself think. What if this goes on all year? I won't be able to get anything (schoolwork!!!!!) done!!!!!

Boo! Exhaustion.
Yay! Internship is working out wonderfully... a longer post about what I'm doing will follow.
Boo! Driving to Waterloo twice or three times a week and I still don't have a paycheck.

I think the $25 ones would do the trick. I also think earplugs would be a horrible idea, given your ears. What do you think?
You are reminding me why I don't miss college at all. I hate the noise levels that other students thought were okay. I hope that as the school year progresses, they will focus more on their work and less on blaring music.
