It turns out that I don't have to contact my synod office today. YAY! I was super nervous about it anyway. I called Pastor Meredith and asked her questions. When I asked the big one: should I start the process now even though I'm taking a year off to do service; she replied that I should wait until spring (March, April-ish). So, more on this subject during tour week.
As for the guitar, I'm waiting until Mike leaves for Senior Week to make that call, so I'm not hogging the phone. But, if you want to see a picture of my baby, go here.
So now I'm looking intensly at postgraduate volunteer year options. I'm looking for anything ecumenical, interreligious, interdenominational, musical, hospital like, etc, etc, etc. Let me know if you've got ideas.
