So I bought the fabric for my recital outfit project. I'm super excited. Pictures can be found here. It's super awesome. And I bought the one pattern I need (found it online, and didn't even have to pay shipping!). Yay. Me=super excited.
I even also bought the zipper, fusible interfacing, thread, and hook & eye set that I need. The only thing I don't have is the 1 1/8 yd of 3/8" wide cotton twill tape. Even after consuling an aunt and my grandmother, I couldn't find the right stuff. I suppose that might be what you get for shopping at Walmart. Oh, but did I mention that the total cost so far is <$20? Yup.
Oh, and I need buttons, for the vest. Hmm.
And yesterday I got a package containing the most awesomest bestest everest thing ever. A bright green vacuum. Vah-cuum... vaahhkewmmm... aahh...
