Tonight I think I figured out how to still get my "Lutheraninity" in, while still enjoying my Sunday morning "job." Louise (who was here on campus today with the other admissions folk from the seminaries) got me to go to Euchi tonight (not an easy task, as my roommates will ascribe to). I had forgotten how nice that service can be, with a good speaker, and without the pressures of the politics of it all. Cool beans. And I got directions for Sunday, so I'm all set to make it work with going to Homecoming Worship on campus, then "work," then lunch(?), then back to campus for the Homecoming weekend concert. Wahoo.
We're coming into the homestretch for getting ready for my preview next week. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think that tomorrow I will wear my panda shirt.
It's been stressful, coming into the middle of the term here. I was so stressed at different points today, that my lungs decided they were going to join in on the fun. The conversation went something like this:
Me: *breathing*
Lungs: No.
Me: Uh, whahuh? *tries to breathe again*
Lungs: Well, if you insist. *allows a hacking cough, followed by rapid breathing*
Me: Uhm. I believe I own you, you silly little miniature-balloon-filled-sacks. *breathes normally*
(some time passes)
Lungs: No.
Me: This again? *breathes, but breaths become more rapid, again*
Lungs: No. Really. We mean it. *Hacks like consumption is in again*
Me: Are you kidding me?
And so on and so forth. Grr on stress-induced asthmatic tendencies.
And what is with the "sth" in "asthma"? Hello? I'm already having a hard time with too much air in my talk!
Okay, it's very much time for bed. Goodnight!
