So yesterday, I got up around 8:30, took a shower (new shower heads!), did laundry (clean clothes!), did dishes (clean dishes!), had lunch (full tummy!), went for a 7 mile bike ride (did pretty well, too: only took 30-40 minutes), hung out with someone in town (got some porch time in, and now have a dime-sized fly bite and several mosquito bites), and got back to campus just in time to make it over to the caf, where I saw with Julie until she left and with Margie and Bryan and Allison and Rebecca. And that's where our story today begins...
... Because as I was walking into the caf, my friend Matt walked up to me and gave me a hug, as Matt usually does, and he inquired as to my evening plans, and I told him them ("chillin'. you?") and he told me his ("well, I was going to be doing forensics stuff.") and then he asked, "I was wonderin' if maybe you'd want to do something more exciting?"
Me: Like what?
Matt: Watch a movie maybe?
Me: sure.
I gave him my cell phone number and we went our separate ways.
((Later that same evening))
Matt calls 'round 8:30 when he gets done with forensics rehearsal and comes over. We then go over to his room to watch a movie (Master of Disguise), at one point visited some friends of his to drop off some DVDs, and after the movie we went on a walk through Waverly. We ended up at the Second Bridge (for looking at the stars), and talked for an hour-ish until I realized that we probably ought go home before I fell asleep right there. When I told him we were going to the bridge to look at stars he said, "I like your plan."
We're gonna do a movie again tonight.
Gotta run to church so I'm not late!
Until the next,
