"So you had a bad day..."

It's only 7:30 and already this day is shaping up pretty miserably.

Let's start with the fact that my iPod just erased itself. Or... something. I can't get to the songs through iTunes or through the iPod itself, yet iTunes still claims that the stupid piece of technology still is half-full (which would be accurate). But I CAN'T GET TO THE DARN SONGS!!

Okay, but that's technology and nothing can be done at the moment and maybe when mom reads this (hint hint) she'll call one of my technology-savvy uncles and find out if this is a common iPod problem.

So, next issue: I have my band audition today. Which, in and of itself, is not necessarily a bad thing. The problem comes in that the movie I watched last night lasted longer than it should have and by the time I had only a half hour to go friends came over and we stuck in a new one so I didn't go to the FAC so I have yet to even pull out my trombone and see if it works. Don't get me wrong, I love my friends and I'm glad that they stopped by. And I don't really care how I place in band. Well, that's not entirely true. I don't care if I get into Wind Ensemble, in fact I'd prefer I didn't. I care a little bit about where I place in Symphonic Band, but not all that much.

Moving on: the temperature today is not cooperating with my views on September.

Moving in: Julie's moving in this afternoon, but my band audition is this afternoon so I probably won't be here when she gets here, so I really hope she likes how I set up the room!

So yeah, not much has happened, but the day is going to be long and tiring. Good thing I don't have to be up for classes yet tomorr-- oh, wait. I'm helping organize the first-year ushers on Sunday. Oh, and I have yet to get any emails about people who will be doing that. Oh, well. I'll do the usual grab-and-go.

To the FAC!
