I spent the day today with mom, wanderin' around DC. Well, not really "wandering," since "wandering" indicates a confusion that we did not have. It was more like cruisin', only without the implied car.

Anyhow.

We did Starbucks and the zoo. At the zoo I realized I wouldn't make it back to the church in time for what I had planned (but didn't have to be at) so we went to the mall and did the Memorial to the 56 Signers of the Declaration of Independance (possibly now one of my favorite memorials) and the DAR Library. We parted ways after the library: mom stayed and did research, I headed back to church to greet a group into the hostel.

I preach tomorrow. Ah!
